712 Development at The Old Rectory (Planning Applications 19/2001/025 & 026A)
Consideration was given to these two applications, one for full permission for the demolition of garage and erection of building to provide residential annex and garage on the ground floor with a workshop, office/studio on the first floor at The Old Rectory, and the second for a C.A. Consent – the demolition of an unlisted building in a conservation area. A copy of a letter sent by adjoining owners to the Chief Planning Officer of TDBC was also made available to members.RESOLVED:-1) That no objection be offered to the application for consent to the demolition of the garage
2) That TDBC be informed that the Council has no objection in principle to development, but has concerns about windows overlooking adjoining property, the height of the new building, which as a residential annex should be limited to a single storey building, and that future occupation of the annex if permitted should be linked to occupation of The Old Rectory.
The meeting closed at 7.53pm.
