For those that want a continuous closeboard fence, this is an alternative way of creating a solid boundary fence.
Advantages over using panels is that you can alter the spacing of the posts, which can be useful to avoid tree stumps/concrete etc.
Generally, for a 1.8m high fence, we recommend using a 3.6m rail & gravel board, and spacing the posts 1.8m apart. You may want to increase the spacing between the posts to 2.4m or even 3m, depending on the height of the fence.
